Return Item Processing

FISC offers return processing for both return deposited items (incoming returns) and outgoing (qualified and raw) returns.

Return Deposited Items

Return deposited items are items for which the FISC client is the bank of first deposit and is receiving a return item from the drawee financial institution.

FISCReturn™ Solutions include:

• Automatic redeposit of qualifying items.
• Flexible methods of notifying and delivering items to the client. Options include phone, fax, and mail.

Outgoing Returns

Item processing clients contract with FISC to process return items after the client has made their pay or no pay decisions. FISC prepares the items for return to the bank of first deposit and delivers the return items by regulatory deadlines.

• Flexibility in methods of receiving return information. FISC can receive information from the client via fax, data file, or online.
• Large dollar notification services for items over $2,500.
• Qualifying of returns and preparation of return cash letters.
• Delivery of items to the bank of first deposit.
