FISC Solutions Expands SAS 70 to Include Image Archive Lewiston, April 27, 2009 - FISC Solutions recently received satisfactory results on their third party SAS 70 audit. The company was audited on its online image archive in addition to its processing operations and information technology structure.
The Statement on Auditing Standard No. 70 (SAS 70) is an audit that reports on the processing of transactions by service organizations. Internationally recognized, the standard is used by independent auditors to review a service provider's controls for safeguarding its customer's data.
As a third party service provider for financial institutions, corporations, and organizations, FISC Solutions has undergone the rigorous SAS 70 Type II audit since 2004. External auditing firms have measured the operating effectiveness of FISC's item processing and lockbox services, loan servicing, and remote deposit capture services. The most recent audit marks the first time examiners reviewed FISC's proprietary web-based image archive, iWEB™.
