FISC Solutions Becomes a Sponsoring Organization of ECCHO Lewiston, May 18, 2009 - FISC Solutions has become a Sponsoring Organization of
the Electronic Check Clearing House Organization (ECCHO). This membership allows
FISC clients the opportunity to become Sponsored Members of ECCHO and take
advantage of the protection offered by the ECCHO rules for Electronic Check
Presentment and Image Exchange, thereby reducing their potential risk.
ECCHO provides an approved rule set for electronic image exchange that has been
adopted by all FISC clearing partners and ensures that FISC clients will have avenues
and recourse for issues such as disputed items, and returns.
"We believe becoming a sponsoring organization of ECCHO will only strengthen
FISC's image exchange program," said Jill Parker, Senior Vice President of Operations.

Banks created ECCHO in 1990 as a cooperative venture to encourage the use of
electronics to enhance the check collection system. ECCHO's primary activities can be
divided among three functions: 1) rules development and maintenance, 2) industry
education and 3) industry advocacy.
