Lewiston, July 2, 2009 - FISC Solutions has signed a contract with Down East Credit Union of Baileyville, Maine to provide check processing services for its inclearing checks. FISC currently provides Remote Branch Capture (FISCapture) services to the Credit Union.

The contract allows FISC to receive and process the Credit Union's incoming cash letter checks from the Federal Reserve or other presentment points. The Credit Union can take advantage of FISC's automated processing environment and realize overall savings with its suite of electronic check services including electronic check receipt and return.

Processing for the Credit Union began July 1, 2009.
